Creative psychotherapy is based on research which shows, doing creative activities and using creative methods can break down barriers in communication, processing and making sense of the world around us. We might use objects to explore situations, we might create something to represent feelings, the options are endless. You do not need to be an artist or artistic! It is my job to facilitate sessions and ensure you are comfortable.

A counselling session is 50 minutes in duration, usually once a week to start with.

Absolutely not, you are completely in control of the number of sessions and frequency of your sessions. We can talk through this in your consultation to ensure you can access sessions in a way which suits you and any financial constraints you might see as a barrier.

This varies for each individual, some people might prefer short term therapy, others long term, this is no reflection on their progress. Each individual is completely different and I honour this.

I offer a 50 minute session for £60, and can offer a discount for prepaid bulk bookings.

Face to face sessions are held at the BxClinic in Blofield, Norwich. Online sessions can also be facilitated.

In order for you to see if I am the right therapist, I hold a free 30 mins consultation first. After this you are under no obligation to book further sessions, as it is really important for you to find the therapist which fits you. You can end sessions at any point should you not like it, all I ask is for you to communicate with me and let me know before ending.

I have a 24 hour cancellation and reschedule policy, should 24 hours not be provided you will be asked to pay for the missed session. I ask for full payment on booking sessions to secure your booking.

I appreciate it can be daunting coming to therapy, it is important I hold a safe, ethical and confidential space for you. Your friend/partner is welcome to wait in the reception area for you. However, for these reasons, no other individual is allowed in the room for your therapy sessions.

Each therapist has their own specialities, mine is working creatively and holding a space to explore issues which might be hard to put into words. This works best on a one to one basis, which is why I chose not to do couples or family therapy.

Creative therapy works amazingly for all age groups, presenting issues and diversities. I work with anyone from the age of 6 upwards.
